About Harriet
PGCE in Classics with MFL (King's College, London (1992) Degree level: Classics Honour Moderations, Corpus Christi College, Oxford (1987); Modern Languages BA - Italian and French, Corpus Christi College, Oxford (1990) A Levels: Latin, Greek, French (1885) German (2000) I have taught in a variety of state and private schools since leaving university in 1990, and would now like a change from teaching in a classroom. The Covid year made us all pretty expert at delivering lessons online, and for one to one lessons it is really like being in the same room!

I always say if you cut me open all you’ll find is languages! When teaching I like the student to progress and to enjoy the language as much as I do. I love languages, both speaking them and the intricacies of grammar. I use a lot of games, repeating certain structures or elements of vocabulary, and also song lyrics for modern languages.
