About Siobhán
I am a professional violinist and fiddle player and have been working in London and touring for the past 8 years. I have worked extensively in Irish music. I perform regularly and specialise in classical, contemporary, pop, ambient and Irish music. Teaching is a valued component of my work and I am passionate about teaching adult learners as well as children.

I have over 10 years' experience teaching students of all ages, from beginner to advanced levels. I specialise in classical and Irish traditional music.
Lessons range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, and cover technique, note-reading, musicianship, aural training and music theory. These areas can be explored in more or less detail based on your preference and goals. I am experienced in prepping students for grade exams, as well as creating bespoke plans for learners to excel in particular areas. My objective is to achieve your goals in the most time-efficient way and at your highest ability.
I hold a Masters in Music from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I am also DBS-checked as I work in-school with children in London. I have extensive experience and passion in teaching adult learners, and am trained and experienced in working with children and adults with additional needs.
