About Grant
I’m Grant and I love tutoring students one-to-one as that’s the best way to be able to focus on their individual needs. I’ve been teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE level and A level biology for many years and love science as it was my favourite subject at school! I also love music and play guitar and bass, plus keep fit by mountain biking and running. Also love a good book or a crime series box set binge!

Online tutoring can be a challenge but my friendly and supportive approach will help you get the most out of our sessions. I focus on exam questions and then correct misconceptions along the way, rather than talking through PowerPoints. We’ll identify the areas you need to work on and make sure our sessions support your individual needs. Over 20 years teaching experience and having been an exam marker for both AQA and Edexcel, I know what they are after!
