About Todd
My teaching approach connects chemistry theory with modern computational tools. I have 9 years of experience and an MSc in Industrial Chemistry. My approach to teaching Chemistry is reflective, patient, and student-focused. I emphasise mathematical foundations to make advanced concepts accessible. Physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics form the backbone of learning. Reaction kinetics, spectroscopy, molecular modelling, and solid-state chemistry are also included. Lessons are structured step by step to build clarity. Real-life examples help make abstract ideas tangible. DIY biology thinking is encouraged for hands-on reasoning and experimentation. Science fiction helps students visualise abstract and unseen systems. Equations are presented as tools to understand nature, not obstacles. Students are encouraged to pause, reflect, and question. Support is steady to build confidence and independence. Each student is guided to find their personal approach to learning. Lessons are calm, reflective, and deliberate.
