About Sabina
I'm Sabina - a cyber security professional who has worked in this space for over 5 years. I started out as a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, making technical and complex topics easy to understand and digest. Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I like to keep my lessons practical, clear and easy to follow. Instead of just throwing theory at you, I make sure you really understand how things work and feel confident applying them. Here’s what a typical session looks like: - I break big ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations - Work through real examples so the concepts actually make sense - I do security exercises together - I do through mini challenges or projects to build your skills - I end with a quick review and next steps so you leave each lesson with clarity I’m a big believer in asking questions, learning at your own pace, and building real confidence - not just memorising theory. Typical Length of a Lesson: Most lessons run for about 45-mins to a 1 hour, which is perfect for learning something new without feeling rushed. If you want to dive deeper into a bigger topic or project, we can go up to 90 minutes - totally up to you. Qualifications and Experience: I have a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics and an MSc in Information Security from a well renowned, globally recognised Top 10 university. I also hold cyber security qualifications, such as OSWP and CISM. I have worked as a Lecturer at university, teaching computer science and cyber security related concepts, from first year to final year. I have worked in industry as a cyber security consultant and penetration tester for over 5 years. My main areas include: • Ethical hacking • Real world penetration testing • Web hacking/development basics • Information security, including GRC • Cyber security foundations and safe online practices • Exam prep, assignments & real-world problem solving But if you need help in any other Computer Science related topics, happy to help. I’ve helped students boost their grades, feel more confident in technical subjects and even get ahead of their curriculum.
