About Tristan
I am Tristan, a passionate and experienced French teacher with over 12 years of expertise in the field. My journey began as a high school teacher in France, specializing in French literature. I then expanded my horizons by teaching in Japan, working in both public schools and private institutions such as Berlitz. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with a Chinese language school, further enriching my teaching experience. Currently residing in Bali, I offer French lessons to students of all levels, from beginners and children to those preparing for tests. My approach to teaching is conversational and engaging, with a strong emphasis on grammar and a structured curriculum that follows the DELF levels and other French certifications. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, exploring new subjects, and indulging in delicious cakes.

I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and stress-free experience. My teaching style is centered around creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, where students feel at ease to engage and participate. I use a conversational approach, encouraging discussions in French to help students practice and improve their speaking skills naturally. However, I also place a strong emphasis on grammar and ensure it is thoroughly covered. My teaching methodology includes a precise curriculum with a mix of textbooks, following the DELF levels and most other French certifications. This structured approach ensures that students receive a comprehensive education that prepares them for various French language proficiency tests. Typical length of a lesson: 45min
