About Sanchita

Hello! I’m an Highschool teacher based in Kolkata, and I specialize in teaching English to primary and secondary school students. Coming from a rigorous academic background, I understand the challenges students face when learning a new subject — especially one as important as English.

My Approach as a Teacher

Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I focus on concept clarity and practical application. English isn’t just about memorizing grammar rules — I teach students how to use the language effectively in real communication, writing, and exams. I break down difficult topics into simple, step-by-step explanation and use examples from everyday life so students can easily connect and remember. I also encourage active participation, asking students to frame sentences, practice speaking, and solve exercises in class.

Structure of a Typical Class

1. Quick Recap (5 minutes): Revise the last lesson so the student stays connected.
2. Core Concept (20–25 minutes): Introduce and explain the topic with clear examples.
3. Practice & Application (20 minutes): Exercises, speaking activities, or writing tasks depending on the topic.
4. Doubt Clearing + Feedback (10 minutes):Clarify mistakes and give personalized feedback.
5. Mini Homework/Task: Short, focused practice to reinforce the day’s learning.
