About Zali
I am a dedicated and professional tutor who is committed to delivering structured, high-quality lessons tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching style is clear, patient, and results-focused. I believe that confidence and understanding go hand in hand, so I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
I focus on building strong foundations first, ensuring that students truly understand key concepts rather than memorizing information. From there, we move to guided practice and progressively more independent work. I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving so that students become confident, self-sufficient learners.
Each lesson is carefully planned and structured to maximize progress. I set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and monitor improvement over time. For exam preparation, I teach effective revision strategies, time management techniques, and structured answering methods to help students perform at their best.

My tutoring approach is student centred, structured and results driven. Every student learns differently so I adjust my teaching style to each learners pace, goals and learning methods. I often connect concepts to practical, real-world applications to help deepen understanding.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although 90 minute sessions can be arranged for more in-depth study or exam preparation.
I have amateur experience tutoring across different learning levels and abilities with a strong knowledge in my chosen subjects. Beyond subject knowledge, I focus on building motivation, discipline and effective study habits.
I work with secondary school students requiring additional support at any point in their schooling career with focused knowledge on Year 11 and 12 Psychology, Biology and General Mathematics.
