About Meghan
Having a degree in History and Political Science with an emphasis in Philosophy I’ve covered a wide range of subjects in my own studies. Geology, ecology, biology, algebra, geometry, statistics, logic, game theory, ethics, metaphysics, geography, and more. I have then continued to implement these in my research as history requires the fullest picture of the past context. Because of this I am able to teach students all these subjects. I’ve had tremendous success with students even when they’re cramming last minute. But when I can work consistently with a student for months to years the growth is endless and I live for building long-term relationships of support and empowerment with my students.

Why is geology relevant to history? It is literally the history of the earth. Math opens us up to the history of the universe as we apply it to the world around us. Statistics inform our understanding of our context. Logic reveals patterns and fallacies in our narratives about the past and present.
I believe these things matter to us all and while I may not help you grow as passionate as myself every student I’ve taught is shocked to find they enjoyed themselves more and found meaning in what they previously assumed was boring.
We will break down the complex into forms your specific mind best understands as I quickly learn and adjust to your learning styles and patterns. We will layer the complexities of science, math, logic, etc as you grow comfortable with your skills.
Ultimately you’ll realize you weren’t struggling to understand, it was being taught to you in incomprehensible ways. No one is the same and this is why I love working one on one - you can adjust to every students needs so they no longer feel frustrated or incapable and instead are empowered to learn.
