About Jessica
Hello, I am a History and American Studies student at the university of Leicester and I love history! I've done some tutoring before, helping a student to achieve their maths GCSE but believe I have the transferable skills to help someone achieve in history and it is definitely an area I am confident in teaching.

Having the opportunity to observe history being taught in secondary schools as part of my university course I believe there needs to be a balance in both covering a topic and developing exam skills. I believe in a student led approach, focusing most on what a student feels they are weakest in, covering topics in detail and in small chunks and then looking at how the information a student has learnt can best be communicated in an assessment.
