Undergrad degree in History, Graduate degree in Education. 20 years experience as a High School Social Studies Teacher, with strengths in teaching not only curriculum, but note-taking skills, study skills, reading skills. I'm still in touch with many of my students as they progress through their careers as TV Reporters, Bank Managers, and more.

My teaching method is to form a personal learning relationship with my students. To ask questions, listen, and then formulate my curriculum and method based on student needs and interests. I incorporate research assignments to enhance student engagement, use verbal as well as written assessments to evaluate student learning.
