About Patrick
I am currently studying History and International Relations at Loughborough University and have several years of studying the interwar years from 1919-1939 in Europe. I achieved an A in my A-level history and an A*in Geography so am happy to tutor in either of these subjects up to this level. I am happy to teach at any level from A levels through to primary school. I have previously taught hockey to children aged 12 and under for 5 years so have experience in this field and believe I have many transferable skills I can bring to the classroom.

My teaching methods would be structured to suit the age group being taught. For younger classes it would be structured to engaging them in the content and developing their understanding of the event that occurred with cause and effect being at the heart of the understanding. For older students in GCSE and A level groups I would look again at cause and effect but look to delve deeper in the subject matter looking at why particular events occurred looking more into the strength of particular arguments and how they have influenced our understanding of the past.
