About Ilinca
I am currently finishing up my master's thesis in Canadian History looking at Romanian Immigrants at the turn of the century in Canada. I have taught tutorials of first-year university history courses for the last two years. I also have over 6 years of experience teaching history to school groups and the general public in local museums in London, Ontario. Further, I possess a number of years experiencing tutoring students ages 6-15 in French.

I like to change my teaching strategies up based on my target audience (age group) and the subject matter at hand. I take a more conversational and repetition based approach to languages but I teach history by story-telling and engaging my students with thought-provoking new concepts and ideas related to events within their own lives.
