About Rabab
I am a History and International Relations graduate from King's College London with a passion for English Literature.
I studied English Literature at A-Level, achieving an A*, and have continued to engage with literature through regular reading, annotation, and occasional analytical writing.
I enjoy exploring how writers use language and structure to communicate complex ideas, and I love helping students build confidence in expressing their own interpretations. Having previously tutored GCSE English Literature, I found the experience rewarding and enjoyed supporting students as they developed their analytical and essay-writing skills.
Personally, I have found English to be incredibly rewarding on a personal level because it has allowed me to express and communicate myself, something which I am keen to bring to students.
I am also enthusiastic to pursue teaching in the future, so tutoring allows me to remain closely connected to a subject I genuinely enjoy while helping students feel more confident, capable, and engaged in their studies.

My approach to tutoring English Literature is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. Having previously tutored GCSE English Literature, I understand the importance of building both confidence and analytical skills.
During lessons, I like to annotate texts alongside students, brainstorm ideas together, and practise written paragraphs and exam-style questions regularly to strengthen their ability to develop clear, analytical responses.
I also regularly review strengths and weaknesses consistently so that progress is measured and targeted.
I focus on helping students improve their critical thinking, vocabulary, essay structure, and time-management skills in exam conditions.
Overall, I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their interpretations, and becoming more independent and confident in their writing.
