About Rose
I am a third year PhD Student in Modern European History with an emphasis on ecclesiastical, Irish, and Polish histories. I've worked as a copy editor and writer, and was originally a Classics Major in Undergraduate. I have taught at University level, primarily on Modern History courses but also Renaissance and Reformation Studies. My own research requires that I read in Latin, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Latin, and Polish, and I engage with philosophy, theology, and political thought in my dissertation.

I like to teach in an interactive way, engaging in dialogue with students to promote understanding of core principles which we then apply to specific case studies. I think this method helps students better understand the heart of learning and understanding, so that they can apply principles universally, rather than simply memorize answers.
