About Adam
I am a PhD student in history, with a particular focus on US history. My thesis is going to be examining aspects of the Orthodox Jewish community in the late 20th century. I'm a huge fan of history and enjoy connecting it to the present. I'm also a huge reader and would love to share a passion for that with any students.

When teaching, my primary goal is to engage the students. Students do not do well when they are just being talked at, they need a healthy and positive interaction with the teacher and active involvement in the lessons. I also try my best to neutrally connect historical events to more contemporary ones, so that students see that history isn't just a dead topic.
