About Martin
I have a Bachelor of International Relations (ATAR 96) with Honours (81% average) in ANU. I did phd in La Trobe Uni for 18 months before I started the Master of Teaching in Melbourne Uni.
I've led numerous tutorials in uni and tutored a few students for ATAR in the past (reference provided).
In Melbourne Graduate School of Education I am one of the top teacher candidates in the cohort of 400+ students.
Over the past two years I taught IB and VCE English, Politics and History (20th century and Revolution) in prestige independent schools in the Southeastern suburbs and was referred by my Year 10-12 students as "the best teacher ever".

Questioning is my main method. My question will lead you to find the answer by yourself over an interesting and challenging process. Once you've got to the good answer, it will become part of you that you will never need cheat sheets for. The questions will highly resemble what you will have in the SACs and final exams, which in the meantime facilitates improvement of writing style.
The questions are based on current affairs which connects the textbook concepts to real-life scenario. We will chat like 7pm news commentators in the sessions.

Martin is a great teacher, excellent in explaining complicated theoretical terms and turning them into fun and interesting knowledge.
Great knowledge in politics! He also has a very good way of explaining difficult things into something easily digestible and understandable.
