About Isabella
As a creative history student specialising in transnational Russian History—with interests also ranging in music, politics, and literature—History has been at the heart of my academic pursuits, as it is centred around what has shaped our current world. It is an invaluable asset for gaining a deeper understanding of human nature and politics.
Having taken a non-traditional route to my own historical studies, I know firsthand that academic success isn't about memorising textbooks—it is about resilience, curiosity, and finding the study methods that click for you. I bring a rigorous, highly disciplined, and structured approach to my mentoring. My students rely on my enthusiasm, meticulous attention to detail, and proven methodologies to navigate their studies with absolute clarity and calm assurance. Remember, History is also about perspectives on the study of the past, and each of us may have differing interpretations, which are encouraged.
We all have a capacity to be a Historian, and any of us, regardless of experience, has the complete capacity to improve upon it.

Based in South-East London, I tailor my tutoring methods to fit your unique learning style. Drawing from my background in music education, I break complex historical concepts into manageable steps, blending creative exploration with rigorous academic focus.
Sessions typically run for up to 60 minutes, providing structured, patient guidance for GCSE, A-Level, and adult learners with a strong interest in History. Together, we will examine how the past helps us better understand the present through critical thinking and targeted exam preparation.
