About Kate
I am a final year History student at University. I have been tutoring continuously since my time in Sixth Form and volunteering with the education departments at the local Museums since my second year at University. I have worked with schools, pupil referral units, museums and parents who have reached out to me during workshops.

My teaching method is personalised to the student. I create materials suited to their needs and try to make lessons as interactive as possible.
Sociology is a debate based subject and I try to encourage students to challenge themselves, myself and others. Sociology is also a subject in which we find ourselves noticing the wider world around us and understanding more than we thought we would.
History is usually factual but is not solely books and beaten down books. There are many links between sociology and History too! I try to incorporate an interactive approach to my History teaching.
