About Lisa
My name is Lisa and I have worked with young people for the past 10 years, when not in university myself. I have a passion for history and have achieved excellent GCSE results with my previous students during my time as a teacher. I am confident I can get the best out of any learner, through an adaptive approach to learning that suits your needs.

My approach to teaching is reflective and considered, with a balanced approach to both skills and subject knowledge. I have been a qualified history teacher for 3 years, with some experience of teaching KS3 RE, PSHE and Geography. As well as teaching existing sections of the National Curriculum, I have created, shared and delivered new schemes such as a “forgotten histories” module.
As well as teaching a wide range of abilities , I have 4+ years of experience as a teaching assistant to students with SEND so I am understanding and capable of adapting learning to all needs. My expertise lies with KS3 history and GCSE, so I am available for secondary school students aged 11-16.
