About Jamie
Throughout my time at my secondary school, I attained a passion for passing on knowledge and experience to others in a variety of roles. I coached and coxed my school's rowing team, directed several plays and finally devised and ran my own lessons in my gap year for Year 11 students.
All of these endeavors have grown, fine-tuned and matured my communication and teaching skills and also inspired me to pursue teaching as a profession. My professional attitude was further cultivated during my work experience at outstanding law firm Graham & Thompson.
My university experience has also armed me with revision and studying techniques which are highly applicable for A Level and even GCSE studies. These tutoring sessions also would aim to arm you with these university level skills - amongst a plethora of other skills.

From my two years of supporting History Students at King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon, I have learnt that my greatest asset as a tutor is my age. Being twenty years old, my exposure to GCSE and A Level content is fresh - allowing me to provide highly relevant teaching to my students.
My lessons are highly personable and are able to elevate, consolidate or generate a student's historical skills. These skills include creating a perfect essay structure, revision techniques and bolstering a student's knowledge on their course.
My qualifications include a 9 at GCSE History, an A* at A Level, averaging a First Class grade in my modules at the University of Bristol. These qualifications allow me to tailor my lessons to students from the ages of 12-18 years of age, with a specific focus on GCSE and A level students.
