About Sanuthi

Hello!

I am Sanuthi De Silva and I'm currently going into my first year of uni at University of Glasgow for Robotics.

I've received all A's in my Nat 5 and Highers and ABC in Advanced Highers, A in Advanced Maths and B in Advanced Physics.

I've only got A's in English throughout my academic years as well so I should be able to help you/your child!

About the lesson

In our introductory lesson, we would:
- Firstly, separate out which days we'd do folio work, RUAE and Critical Essay work
- Brainstorm folio topics
- Very briefly discuss your novella/poem for the critical essay
- A mini RUAE test to see where you're at

Once we have that settled for RUAE:
- We would do a rundown on techniques and how to answer certain questions
- Once we have that settled we would do a paper a week and I would mark it and help with any problems.
- If there's any place you are particularly struggling with I would mainly focus on those types of questions before redirecting you to papers again.

For Critical essay:
-We would do a couple of questions based on the novella/poem
-Then go straight to past paper questions and practise as many essays as possible.
- Essays would be timed later when I feel you are confident enough in writing essays.

For Folio:
- I would like to disclaim that I do not support writing folios for you but would be in full support in structuring and concept.
- We would only work on folio 15-20 minutes since it's mainly meant to be students' work.

I try to avoid giving homework because I'd prefer the students not having to spend any more extra hours outside of sessions and school studying (it can be stressful) but that being said with the workload we would have to do 2 sessions a week.
