  I speak Spanish fluently due to my Argentine origins. Although the influence of a teacher can be valuable, in my case, the connection with my culture and family environment has been the main motivation to learn and speak the language fluently.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  An emblematic character of the Spanish language and culture could be Gabriel García Márquez, a prominent Colombian writer whose works have left a significant mark on world literature.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  I love the expression "sobremesa," which reflects the cultural tradition of enjoying a prolonged conversation after a meal. This practice fosters connection and camaraderie, aspects that I highly value.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  Speaking Spanish is important to me because it is the key that unlocks the doors to my cultural identity and connects me with my heritage. Additionally, it is an invaluable tool for communicating with a broad global community.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  The main difficulty in learning Spanish can be verb conjugation and numerous grammatical exceptions. Consistent practice, exposure to real conversations, and reading diverse materials can facilitate the learning process.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  A valuable anecdote is from my school days when I participated in a language exchange with English-speaking students from Boston. This experience not only improved my English but also taught me the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  Traveling to different Spanish-speaking countries like Uruguay, Chile, Spain, and throughout Argentina has been crucial in enriching my ability and knowledge of the language. Immersion in environments where Spanish is spoken daily has strengthened my understanding and fluency.
