About Rebecca
I am a university graduate specialising in modern history. I have worked with young people before in a variety of different settings which enables me to adapt my approach for the individual to achieve success. This includes previously supporting the daughter of a family friend with some of her primary school studies and ranges to supporting sixth form students in thinking about their university applications.

I have an MA in Military History and a BA(Hons) in Modern History and am willing to teach up to A-Level standard. I remember going through the school system including the nerves and stress associated with revision and learning new topics, especially after the GCSE to A-Level jump.
I believe in gaining a basic understanding of the whole topic before specialising, as this helps facts to stick because of deeper level of understanding. To help support this I use mindmaps and timelines and regularly refresh previous knowledge.
