About Ropata
I am a retiree but completed two degrees in the past 6 years. I have tutored students most recently at a community garden and nursery in Auckland over the last seven years with up to 10 students studying the horticulture courses for trade certificate. I am a fluent speaker in 3 languages and enjoy learning myself, so I appreciate tutoring from a learner's perspective. I believe in supporting students in their learning journey.

I have many years of experience as a correspondence tutor for Botany and Horticulture. I can teach at all secondary school levels. My approach is to ensure that the lessons are understood before moving on. I understand that learning happens through methods that suit the learner
