About Femi
I am a dedicated statistician and mathematics educator with over seven years of teaching experience in higher education, having started lecturing in 2019. I hold a PhD in Statistics from the University of Ilorin and currently serve as a Lecturer I and Head of Programme (Mathematics). I specialise in areas such as probability, statistical inference, and survey sampling. I have a strong passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand complex concepts in a simple and practical way. I teach because I find it rewarding to build students’ confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and support them in achieving their academic goals through a patient and personalised approach.

I take a personal and student-centred approach to private tutoring, adapting each session to the learner’s individual needs, goals, and preferred learning style. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills, while adjusting the pace and teaching methods to ensure steady and meaningful academic progress.
