About Lanka
My name is Lanka Perera, and I’m excited to be your math tutor. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, and I’ve spent several years helping students understand and enjoy mathematics. My goal is to make math clear, interesting, and confidence-building for every student. I focus on explaining concepts step by step, using examples and exercises that match your learning style. Whether you’re preparing for exams, working on homework, or just want to improve your problem-solving skills, I’m here to help you succeed. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring practical applications of math and sharing ways it connects to real-world problems—so you’ll see how math is not just formulas, but a useful and fascinating tool. I hold a B.Tech.Eng in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, and I have several years of experience teaching, mentoring, and tutoring students in mathematics across a variety of levels.
