About Julie
I grew up not liking the pressure of school but always being curious to understand how things work. The older I have gotten the more appreciative I have become of the good teachers I had who helped me along the way. Which is why I would like to return the favor and help other students learn and fuel their curiosity.
I studied Dietetics (Nutrition Sciences) at University but then made a career pivot to work at an American International school in Palestine for two years. Teaching kindergarten and running their library. Through this experience I realized how much I enjoyed working with students in small groups or as a tutor.
I have a quick curious mind and always strive to make learning fun.

For those needing help with homework or a certain topic in a subject, I would read through their text book so that I know what they are suppose to learn. Quiz them briefly to ascertain what they know. Then go through the topic with them, using diagrams, bullet points while asking them questions to make sure they are tracking with me.
I enjoy connecting with kids and helping them figure out their lessons and I always try to make my lessons fun and interactive.
I work best with younger kids in elementary and middle school.
