About Parrish
I am a Home School Teacher to my very own cousin. She had struggled with math from the very beginning and I watched her struggle multiple times. This caused me to try and adapt how I teach her so the information I'm giving sticks. Adapting my teaching methods eventually led her to fully understand the material, but to also do it at an efficient rate as well. I want to use what I learned myself to teach those who struggle.

Working with the students to adhere to their specific needs instead of a generic copy-and-paste plan has always been my preferred way of teaching and guiding.
Before we even begin, I like to know what subject the student is struggling with specifically. For example, a student might be well-versed in isolating a variable when the variable is only on one side of the equation, but then struggle when there's a variable on both sides of the equation. Knowing what they are struggling with allows me to target that one area so we aren't wasting any time on things they already know how to do. Repeating things they already know how to do can cause disinterest and loss of focus on what I'm trying to teach. This will make it so they can't remember the parts they're struggling with.
I'm looking to tutor young minds from Elementary to Middle School levels in math so that they can succeed in their studies
