Taught my daughter the alphabet while potty training before one year old. She is now a college graduate. Taught my son, who was hyper active though never diagnosed by a doctor, as a result, he was able to become a Marine and is now taking Master level college courses.

Whatever works. For my daughter who hardly moved, I gave her work to do. For my son who did not stop moving, I would let him run around the table and come back with the answer. We will learn each other and figure out what works best.
