About Oscar
My name is Oscar Brewer.
I am a Teaching Assistant from Auckand CBD.
I'm a 25 Year old Male born in New Zealand. I have a part time job working at the homework centre for Ethiopian Refuges aged between 6 - 13. I help the children with maths and english.
We look after 25 - 30 students. I am familiar with working with larger groups or one on one.
My approach is rooted in empathy and patience. Sometimes kids can get upset when they don't understand how to do a worksheet. My job is to be encouraging and to help them grow.

My methodology which I have learned from working with skilled teachers at the Homework Centre is to be a kind hearted, enthusiastic and patient Teaching Assistant. My job at the Homework Centre is Tutoring Maths and English for ages 6 - 13.
I am a 25 year old from New Zealand and I can be a strong and positive male role model for your son or daughter. The typical length of a lesson is 2 hours.
