About Lauren
I study Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology in the Honors College at the University of Colorado Boulder. I hold 2 positions in different research labs, where my STEM, Qualitative Analysis, Statistics, and reasoning skills are used a lot. I am looking to be a TA in my genetics lab next semester. I hold a leadership volunteering position in a program where I teach middle school kids how to do science experiments. I graduated from an all-girls STEM high school. I worked at my local hospital on and off for roughly two years and represented them at South by Southwest film festival.

I typically walk through the content with students, and have them teach it back to me. This helps a lot with active recall and understanding the content. I do a lot of practice questions as well because this helps with pattern recognition and is useful for my students on exams or quizzes.
