About Alexis
I am an honors English major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I have a passion for teaching and helping, which is why I was a tutor all through high school, and also why I am pursuing a minor in Education! I hope to one day work in editing, and maybe pursue more higher education to be a professor.

My approach to tutoring focuses on creating an environment that promotes learning and encourages the student. Any child is capable of learning if they have the right support and materials to get them there! Everyone is different, some people learn best through visuals, others learn more from hands-on or instructed teaching. I like to talk to my students to find out what works best for them.
