About Michelle
Hello! My name is Michelle, and I am a graduating senior who earned straight A’s in Algebra and Statistics. I enjoy helping students understand math in a simple and stress-free way.
I am easy to talk to, patient, and understanding, so I try to make lessons fun and comfortable while still covering all the important material. Since I recently completed these classes myself, I understand the struggles students may have and explain concepts in a way that is easier to follow.
My goal is to help students feel more confident, improve their grades, and make math less intimidating.

My name is Michelle, and I am a graduating senior who has mastered Algebra and Statistics with straight A’s throughout high school. My teaching approach focuses on making math less intimidating and easier to understand by breaking problems down step by step. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a supportive and patient learning environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing any concepts the student struggles with, followed by guided examples and practice problems. I like to explain not only how to solve a problem, but why each step matters so students can build confidence and solve similar problems independently. I also adapt my teaching style based on the student’s pace and learning preferences.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I recently completed these same courses myself and understand the challenges students face in today’s classrooms. Because of this, I can explain concepts in a relatable and simple way that students often find easier to follow.
My lessons are best suited for middle school and high school students taking Algebra, Statistics, or general mathematics courses who want extra support, better grades, or stronger confidence in mathematics.
