Hi! My name is Chaitnya but you can call me Chait. I am 17 years old and going into grade 12. I enjoy teaching the people around me and feel good to see them understand the topic that they were struggling on for so long. As I completed French immersion throughout elementary and middle school and continued my French education in highschool, I am very comfortable teaching French to students from junior kindergarten to Grade 9. As someone who is new to this field, creating a lesson plan and being well prepared before a tutoring session is very important. My lesson plan will begin with the welcoming of all the students and a quick ice breaker to get the students involved. Throughout the lesson, I will be making sure to talk in a slow, clear and easy to understand tone. When teaching a lesson, I use stories connected to the lesson as well as interactive games to involve the class and to help them better understand the concept being taught. Time management will be used to keep the class on track and to end the lesson at a punctual time and to ensure homework is assigned. I believe that it is important to understand the different learning bumps every student may encounter and to understand the different needs they may have to be successful which sets me apart as a tutor.
