About Bayley
Hello! I am an elementary, high school, and first-year university English tutor. I began my university studies in engineering at the University of Waterloo, but followed my passion into the social sciences and humanities. I will be graduating with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree this June and am an incoming law student. This academic path, combined with my over three years of tutoring experience, has strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to break down ideas into clear, approachable steps. My approach is patient and personalized—I take the time to understand each student’s learning style and goals. I would love to support your or your child's learning journey!

I teach English from Grade 1 up to the first-year university level. Whether you're an elementary student needing help with grammar or punctuation, or a high school, college, or university student looking for support with essay preparation and writing, I’m here to help.
Here’s how I structure my lessons:
1. Preparation Ahead of Time
I ask that you let me know what you’d like to work on before our scheduled session. Even a little notice gives me time to prepare, so we can make the most of our time together.
2. Adapted to Your Learning Style
Everyone learns differently. Whether you're a visual, auditory, or hands-on learner—or a combination—I do my best to tailor lessons to your learning style and interests whenever possible.
3. Building Confidence
My goal is to help you understand the how and why behind what we’re working on. I want you to leave each session feeling more confident and equipped to apply your skills independently.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I look forward to working with you!
P. S. I also offer tutoring in elementary-level math.
