About Nafas

I am an Honors Bachelor of Science in Nursing student at Seneca Polytechnic with a strong academic background in science, mathematics, and health studies. I also have previous tutoring experience in English and mathematics.

I am patient, organized, supportive, and passionate about helping students understand difficult concepts in a way that feels clear and manageable. My nursing education has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, professionalism, and ability to work with people from different backgrounds.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s learning style, goals, and areas of difficulty. I break challenging concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations and use examples, practice questions, and active problem-solving to make sure students truly understand the material rather than simply memorize it.

A typical lesson begins by identifying what the student already understands and where they need support. We then review key concepts, work through examples together, and finish with practice questions to reinforce learning and build confidence.

As a BScN nursing student with a strong academic background and previous tutoring experience, I can support students in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Health Sciences, English, and introductory Nursing subjects. I especially enjoy helping students prepare for tests, understand difficult coursework, complete assignments, and develop better study strategies.

I aim to create a patient, encouraging, and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. Lessons can be adapted to different academic levels and individual learning needs.
