Creating love/interest in the subjects is paramount. No shortcuts. Hand in glove approach to subjects, working with students with deep understanding of each student's strengths and weaknesses. "No One-size fits all" approach. However, it is paramount that students must work hard and not rely solely on others. Diligence is key. My role as a Tutor is like a Lighthouse on an island, to show the way to arrive safely onshore for students sailing in the wide and sometimes calm sometimes stormy academic oceans.
