About Lewis
I was born and raised in the northern English county of Lancashire. I have spent my entire working life within the fitness industry working as a personal trainer and as a class instructor. But, three years ago I wanted to plan for the future and for a potential career change. Subsequently, I began a part-time degree; BA Hons Modern Languages: English and German at the Open University.
Throughout the course, my eyes had been opened to how the English language has sculped our world, how the language plays a major role in business, entertainment, science and politics. Furthermore, the course has made it apparent that English holds the key to so many employment opportunities for those living outside Anglophone countries (Kachru's Outer Circle). Therefore I want to use my knowledge and passion for the English language to help those who wish to improve their English languages skills, such as adults who want to improve their employment prospects or children who wish to get ahead in their school work. Additionally, it would be selfish for me not to share my passion for the language ;)

I have a very hands-on and approach to teaching. I believe learning a language should be fun. I achieve this by building confidence and motivation within my students by enabling them to use their new acquired linguistic skills.
I tailor my lessons to my student's needs and requirements to ensure that the student starts on the right track with via a free initial consultation.
I offer tutoring one-to-one and to small groups online via Skype or Zoom.
