As a self-taught editor, I spent a lot of time figuring out how to learn Premiere. Several times I gave up because the interface didn't make much sense!
After insisting a little, I learned how to use the program and not only that, I have been teaching classes on how to edit videos and use the main tools of Adobe Premiere so that in an afternoon you can go from "I don't understand the tool" to your first video ready!
