About Joe
I am a qualified drama teacher and theatre maker based in Manchester. I am a masters student in Playwriting at the University of Manchester. I am an experienced director, playwright and theatre maker. I have produced a whole host of performances and am looking forward to sharing my expertise in musical theatre with you.

This class takes a look at a variety of different musical theatre performances as we explore how playwrights approach this form. We then look at how to plot out a musical and explore the three act structure as well as more experimental structures. We will then explore lyric writing and work on creating a a song for your musical. By the end of the course you will have a song, a scene and a structure for your musical ready.
