About Kayla
I’m a recent HSC graduate who completed English Extension 2, with a strong passion for literature, film, and storytelling. I love helping students understand texts more deeply and express their ideas clearly and confidently in writing.
Alongside my academic background, I have three years of teaching experience in drama, working with children and teenagers aged 7–17. This has helped me develop a supportive, engaging teaching style that builds confidence, communication skills, and creativity in every student I work with.
I’m currently studying a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, with the goal of becoming a qualified teacher in the future.

My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and confidence-building. I know firsthand how overwhelming English can feel, especially during HSC, so I focus on breaking down assignments in a personalized way to help you understand what teachers or markers are looking for when grading. Additionally, I love to help students understand the relevance of what is being taught so they may approach the content with a more enthusiastic mindset.
