About Chris

I'm Chris, founder of Rubix Learning, a Sydney tutoring company. I've been tutoring since 2017, first as a private tutor and then with the Rubix team, and together we've helped more than 3,100 students, including HSC students who went on to achieve Band 6 results.

I finished Year 12 with an ATAR of 94.45, including a Band 6 in Mathematics Advanced and an E4 in Mathematics Extension 1, and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Business Analytics) at the University of Sydney. I hold a current NSW Working With Children Check.

I train every Rubix tutor myself, and our team covers every HSC subject, so we can help with all of your child's study needs, from Kindergarten to Year 12.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, and the best tutors shape their lessons around each student. I start by breaking the content down so it's easy to understand and making sure my students have the core fundamentals. Then we apply it to as many practice questions as possible, building from easier to harder ones, so students are well prepared for their assessments.

Lessons are one-on-one, at your home in Sydney or online, and can be any length to suit your child.

Chris was an amazing tutor and really focused on personalising his lessons to the way that I learn best. With Chris help I was able to go from averaging 57% in year 11 to achieving 88% in mathematics in year 12. I also worked with one of Chris’s tutors for English from his company www.rubixlearning.com.au and was able to improve my English results from 75% in year 11 to 96% in year 12. A huge thank you to Chris and his team.
