About Elena
Born in Spain to English and Dutch parents, I grew up in a multilingual environment and speak three languages fluently. I have always been passionate about learning, particularly through academic reading and essay writing, which has shaped my strong interest in History, especially modern History.
Alongside my studies, I am an active member of my university’s swimming club and maintain a regular gym routine. Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, drawing, playing video games, and listening to history podcasts.
My academic background and enthusiasm for education motivate me, and I aim to support students with genuine engagement in their learning.

I teach online, with lessons ranging from 1 to 2 hours, once or twice a week depending on the individual student's need. This includes helping with coursework, homework and assignments. Looking over key concepts and testing understanding with short quizzes I create makes learning fun and engaging. I have completed my GCSEs and A-levels with excellent marks and I have experience with helping younger students with their Biology homework and reading comprehension. I am currently an Undergraduate Student studying Human Geography at the University of Southampton. I volunteer at a nearby school, helping Year 9 students with their History and Geography coursework.
