About Scott
During my teacher training I was handed a wonderful mantra by a mentor: 'Teachers are sanctioned mavericks'. We adapt, improvise, and think creatively rather than follow rigid scripts, all whilst achieving rigid demands.
Every individual's needs are unique, however, exam demands are often inflexible. Throughout my practice I have fostered success from my students, whilst still having fun, getting creative, and allowing space to truly enjoy the subject we study.

Sessions are 1 hour long and tailored to individual needs. Sessions can include subject knowledge enhancement, activities, and exam prep, with immediate feedback and recommendations for improvement provided.
All exam boards covered KS3-5.
I also provide tuition for relevant social science undergraduate courses.
I have 5+ years' experience as a qualified teacher and hold the following qualifications:
- PGCE Citizenship
- BA (Hons) International Relations
- MSc International Development
I also have active experience as a politician, having served as a County Councillor.
