About Aj
I am qualified lawyer with a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) degree from National Law University, Lucknow India and a Master of Law (LL.M) in International Legal Studies from SOAS, University of London. I am extremely passionate about teaching and mentoring young law students navigating their way through law school and life. I have vast academic experience and knowledge in various disciplines within Public International Law and International Human Rights Law. I am also happy to mentor law students/aspiring Mooters and Debaters (having won accolades in the same myself) in non-academic skills such as public speaking, critical thinking and professional social interactions, etc.

I maintain and expect sincerity and professionalism from my students, but also believe in creating an atmosphere of constructive learning rather than fear-based pedagogy. I believe in formulating lesson plans in collaboration with the student in order to ensure maximum learning and output. Besides following curated lesson plans, I also love engaging in healthy Q&A style discussions to foster enthusiasm and inculcate original critical thinking in my students.
I also believe in creating safe, diverse and inclusive spaces around me and my classroom is similarly an accessible and safe learning environment.
