About Alisha
I am a CELTA qualified teacher, who has been in employment with outstanding institutions in various capacities. I started my career as a barrister, then focused my energy on legal publishing with Thomson Reuters. Upon completion of my CELTA, I obtained a position at International House Edinburgh, and undertook a professional course, endorsed by the University of Cambridge, on how best to prepare students for the IELTS examination.

Each lesson is bespoke and divided into digestible stages. A personalised study plan and booklet is provided to each student to ensure a structured study plan. Every lesson will focus on increasing the students' lexis in a particular topic area. They will be exposed to different genres of reading materials both general and academic, as well as trained to comprehend different accents speaking in English.
