I'm a certified ESL Exam Prep Coach and a CELTA qualified teacher from the UK. For the past six years, I've been working in language schools in Russia, Korea and the UK. In 2011, I completed my Master's degree while working, so I know how difficult it is to work full-time and study! Traditional methods teach students things that they don't need to learn or already know. They don't focus on the areas that students need to improve, and they don't teach them to study effectively. As a result, students waste time and money. Most importantly, they don't receive the targeted practice that gets results! Preparing for my exam I realized I needed some professional help. My main problems were vocabulary range and writing skills. David has a really flexible and creative approach. Realizing I’m a busy student who doesn’t have much time for homework he gave me all different sorts of tasks to help me learn new words and phrases during the lessons. He has helped me with my writing as well, always giving extended comments on every mistake, providing ideas of how to rephrase to make it sound more natural. I also knew that if I had any questions at all, I could always ask and get a quick and clear answer, which I appreciated a lot.
