About Anastasia
I have studied in International schools since the age of 7, which helped me understand different cultures and learning styles early on. During my own IGCSEs and IB English became my strongest subject and it is when I fell in love with poetry and writing. I am now in my final year at the University of Surrey studying Media and Communications, where I continue to apply my writing, analytical and critical thinking skills. Along my studies, I have tutored Ukrainian students who had just moved to the UK, helped my younger brothers prepare for their own IGCSE English exams, and worked as a summer camp monitor guiding children aged 5-16. These experiences have taught me to support my students with confidence, clarity and patience.

I offer online tutoring for students preparing for IGCSE English Language and Literature, with a clear focus on improving understanding, confidence and exam performance. I can help with all areas of the curriculum, including set-text study across prose, drama and poetry, as well as unseen passages, summary writing, directed writing and essay structure. Each lesson is tailored to what the student needs most, with step-by-step guidance, practice and personalised feedback. My aim is to create a supportive, engaging and results-focused learning environment where students feel confident and parents feel fully informed.
