About Sheila
I am an illustration graduate, and I used to do art tutoring for ages 4-16 in a studio. Having a traditional fine art training background, my goal in teaching is to keep the students' interest in art while helping them achieve the results they want.
I have experience in teaching students with special needs and have adjusted my teaching style based on the individual student.
I mainly help students produce a finished piece and teach them fundamentals while drawing. I demonstrate the required skills and help the student when they are struggling. I also give critiques and suggestions that could improve the drawing. I am most familiar with digital and mixed media.

My goal is for you to have fun and see progress in your art journey.
Lesson structure
We pick a picture that you want to draw, and I demonstrate the techniques used in the drawing. I will give you time to work on it and will help you along the way. This process continues until you finish a piece, and then we select a new picture or create one from imagination.
I hope to build a friendly relationship with you and help you improve in a fun and rewarding way!
